Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits 2 announced with 2 sweet visuals and premiere dat

Well, this wonderful news from the anime world was a long time in coming.

Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, Season 2 is finally on its way, more than 7 years after the final episode of its first season aired in September, 2018.

And yes, it will be seven years as, while Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, Season 2 has been officially announced on the anime’s official X account that, sadly, only means it is now in production.

The isekai anime’s premiere date, however, won’t actually be until some time in Fall, 2025.

Two Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- Season 2 visuals released

Along with the Season 2 announcement, we also got a cute celebratory Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, Season 2 visual featuring protagonist Aoi Tsubaki with ogre and Master Inkeeper Oodanna in the background, as both appear in front of a pretty Fall backdrop. (above)

Because, yep, Fall, 2025.

Midori Yuna, the author of the popular light novels the anime series is based on, also released a celebration visual on her X account. (see below)

She also nicely apologized for the wait.

Meanwhile, if you have not yet watched the first season of the anime, and love a fun isekai anime with a cool female protagonist, a lovely art style and interesting characters, the 26-episode (yep, it’s a nice long one) first season of Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- is now streaming via Crunchyroll.

It’s so cute, I may very well head over there and watch it again in anticipation of Season 2. For the third time.

As more news about the second season is announced, we will keep you updated on director, screenwriter, character designer, voice cast etc. here on Leo Sigh.

I would also add studio, but I refuse to consider anyone other than Studio Gonzo producing the next season, as they did a brilliant job with the first.
