With the regular broadcast of the popular One Piece anime series now on hiatus until April next year, fans have been looking forward to a ‘Special Edited Version‘ of the Fisherman Island story arc called One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga.
That condensed version of the story was supposed to kick off its first episode on Sunday, October 27th until the news arrived on the official One Piece Staff X account yesterday that One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, Episode 1 has now been postponed.
A postponement that is beyond the control of the One Piece folks, as it is due to a the live broadcast of the Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series, and you know how crazy the Japanese are about that sport.
When will One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, Episode 1 stream?
Instead, the Special Edited Version of the One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga, Episode 1 — titled Beginning of a New Chapter! The Straw Hats Reunited! — is now scheduled to premiere on November 3rd, 2024 in Japan, with a subsequent streaming outside the country soon after.
So, sadly, that means you will have to wait another week for the anime to begin airing, but it will at least have enhanced visuals when it finally does.
Crunchyroll will be streaming the series outside Japan when it does kick off.

Obsessed with anime and manga. Desperate for time to stop with only me left moving in the world. Then I’d have the time needed to watch the 543 anime DVDs I own, and read the more than 1,000 manga.
