Detectives These Days are Crazy! creditless ending animation has Kana Hanazawa rapping as high-school detective Mashiro
Yesterday, we got a creditless opening animation that featured the OP for the new comedy anime Detectives These Days are Crazy!, and today it’s the ending theme song’s turn to be in the spotlight.
The Detectives These Days are Crazy! creditless ending animation was released on KADOKAWA Anime’s YouTube channel this afternoon, and features the anime’s ending theme song — quirky pop rap song “GORI☆GORI Feez e-Girl!!” by Kana Hanazawa.
She, of course, voices protagonist Mashiro in the anime, and so raps the ED as Mashiro would rap it herself.
She gets help from fellow voice actor Tomokazu Sugita, who plays THREE characters in the anime.
Detectives These Days are Crazy! ending animation apt for the lunacy of the anime
The creditless ending animation is also fun, as it is overlaid with the heads of the anime’s main characters, which are used as if they are spinning symbols on slot machines.
A pretty apt indication of what the Detectives These Days Are Crazy! is all about — as spin, spin, and spin all the craziness in the just-premiered comedy anime, and you would still have no idea what to expect when the anime’s next lunatic episode drops.
Episode 1 of Detectives These Days Are Crazy! premiered earlier today and, while it won’t suit everyone’s taste, as it is massively slapstick, with over-the-top gag comedy, and completely frenetic in its pacing and story, for those who enjoy something truly unique, it ticks every single one of the boxes.
Crunchyroll is streaming it internationally.
