Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant creditless opening and ending animations out – feature upbeat OP and ED

One of the comfiest, most surprisingly fun anime to premiere in the Summer, 2025 season so far is the fantasy anime Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!

It features a laid-back, cool and very kind protagonist, restaurant owner Dennis, an adorably cute former-slave Atelier and, from what we saw in Episode 1, pretty art, decent animation and a story that will soon be introducing us to a whole slew of fun characters.

Today, that fun was cemented with the release of the Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! creditless opening and ending animation videos that, of course, feature the anime’s catchy theme songs.

They are opening theme ‘Unique‘, which is performed by Dannie May and ‘Magokoro My Heart‘ by Cho Tokimeki♡Sendenbu.

The creditless animation in both videos also does a solid job of showing just how quirky and sweet the gourmet-themed fantasy anime series has turned out to be, while introducing its fun characters.

The food-themed anime is directed by Joji Shumura (Tamagotchi!), with Deko Akao (The Unaware Atelier Meister) managing the series composition, and Aoi Yamato (Life with an Ordinary Guy who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout) designing its cute characters.

Studio OLM, who have done such an incredible job with The Apothecary Diaries, is animating, so it’s no wonder both the art style and animation are so good, is it?

Episode 1 of Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant! is streaming on Crunchyroll now, with Episode 2 due to premiere on Thursday, July 10th.
