See You Tomorrow at the Food Court creditless opening and ending animations are the coolest things

One of the big surprises of the Summer, 2025 anime season so far, at least for me, is just how fun the short anime See You Tomorrow at the Food Court has turned out to be.

The first episode of the laid-back slice-of-life anime features two uniquely quirky protagonists superbly voiced by their voice actresses (one — Hiyori Miyazaki, who plays Wada, is a newbie), a lovely art style, an entertaining not-much-happens plot, and some true laugh-out-loud conversations between protagonists Wada and Yamamoto.

That See You Tomorrow at the Food Court also features a cool opening theme song, complete with a fun dance number by Wada and Yamamoto, and an equally awesome ending theme song, is just the icing on the offbeat cake.

(Gotta say I love Wada’s verbal introduction to the anime’s ending theme song too!)

Those fun See You Tomorrow at the Food Court theme songs just got their creditless opening and closing animations released and, yep, without credits, the intro and outro animations are even sweeter.

Production details for the cute girls doing cute things anime

See You Tomorrow at the Food Court is directed by Kazuomi Koga (Rent-a-Girlfriend), with Jukki Hanada (The Dangers in My Heart) providing series composition, and Kyuuta Sakai (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-)

Atelier Pontdarc (Ganbare Douki-chan) is animating the mini anime series.

The See You Tomorrow at the Food Court opening animation features OP Mikansei ni Matataite’ performed by Oisicle Melonpan, while its closing animation’s ED is ‘Tonariawase” by voice actresses Hiyori Miyazaki (Wada) and Yoshino Aoyama (Yamamoto).

Check them both out below. Now aren’t they two of the most upbeat and utterly cute opening/ending animations you’ve seen in a while?

In fact, the only bad thing about this entire anime so far is it, sadly, only comprises six episodes. Boo!

Now head off to watch the anime on Crunchyroll, and tell me how much you laughed when Wada spends more cash on rolls in her favorite mobile game, and pulls that SSR character she hates.
