Head Over Heels Ep 7 grabs highest ratings yet – international viewers still invested in the C-drama

tvN’s romantic fantasy drama Head Over Heels, Episode 7 just kicked off its second half to record nationwide ratings on Monday night.

According to Nielsen Korea, Head Over Heels, Episode 7 garnered 4.82 percent of the viewership last night, which is a substantial increase from Episode 6’s audience share of 4.00 percent.

The Korean drama also earned 4.56 percent of the viewership in Seoul, which is only 0.13 percent lower than the all-time high of 4.69 percent it garnered for Episode 1.

Yep, the drama that started off with higher ratings than most of its predecessors in the same time slot is back heading in the right direction.

International viewers’ reaction to Head Over Heels

Interestingly, the Korean romance drama is also performing incredibly well on My Drama List, where it is earning an 8.5 out of 10 — a very high rating from viewers of that site.

Comments too are almost all complimentary about the series, ranging from the simple:

to cute comments about the spirit Bongsu, who started off with everyone wanting him dead (?) and now, maybe, not so much:

Bong su-yaa why are you so damn funny and lovable??!!. What to do? Now i want Bong Su to stay.

and, of course, appreciation for the female lead, who, I agree, is killing it in the role:

The drama is great but Cho Yi Hyun is just too cute in this drama. She is the one who got me hooked to this.

Head Over Heels is also being rated very positively by users of IMDB, grabbing a high 8.5 out of 10, and with comments that are overwhelmingly positive.

Head Over Heels stars Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Young Woo, Cha Kang Yoon, and Choo Ja Hyun, and runs through July 29th.
