6 Duel on Mount Hua: Eastern Heretic and Western Venom character posters drop
The second part in the Duel on Mount Hua series of Chinese dramas — Eastern Heretic and Western Venom — releases on Tencent Video and WeTV today and, in anticipation, the streaming platform has released several character visuals.
The first batch are for male leads Gao Wei Guang and Zhou Yi Wei, and arrived with a remark from Tencent telling Chinese fans the two actors will make a surprise appearance in the bullet chat today.

Duel on Mount Hua: Eastern Heretic and Western Venom is the second in the four series prequel of the 60-episode wuxia drama The Legend of Heroes, which premiered back in July, 2024.
It follows on from the first part of the prequel – Nine Yin True Sutra — which premiered on July 26th on Tencent/WeTV, and will itself be followed by the third part of the prequel — Southern Emperor and Northern Beggar — which will be released on the same platform on August 5th.
The series then ends with 5 Great Masters, which is due to drop on August 10th.
