I have to admit I am a little partial to the latest The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Zodiac visual that dropped on the anime’s X account today.
Especially considering it is for Leo — the Zodiac sign of both my mother, and of myself.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Leo Zodiac visual features the adorable Mahiru wearing cat ears, and cuddling the cutest lion cub — well…. a cat wearing a lion headdress and trying to look fierce.

The anime’s Leo Zodiac visual is the third in a 12-month series from the rom-com anime, with the next one (for Virgo) being released in late August.
The latest promotion for the Project No. 9-animated series came out today as Season 2 of the anime is currently in production, and due to premiere in April, 2026.
And yes, it will be over three years since the first season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten ended before the anime’s second season begins.

Chihiro Kumano (The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei) is replacing Season 1’s Lihua Wang as director, while Keiichiro Oochi (The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses) is back in charge of scripts and series composition, and Takayuki Noguchi (The Dangers In My Heart) is returning to design the characters.
The anime is based on the light novels written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto.
Volume 1 of the Japanese edition of the novel series describes its cute plot in this way:
