Legend of the Female General hits 25000 on heat index (updated to 26000) – Zhou Ye and Ryan Cheng poster drops

New Tencent Video/WeTV drama Legend of the Female General is going gangbusters, with the C-drama now exceeding 25000 on the heat index with just 8 episodes out (9 for Express viewers).

That means the Chinese drama has jumped by over 2000 popularity points since it hit 23000 just two days ago.

The drama’s latest milestone was reported by Tencent on their official Weibo page today, along with a celebratory visual of the two leads — He Yan (played by Zhou Ye) and Xiao Jue (Ryan Cheng).

Legend of the Female General airs exclusively on @腾讯视频 (Tencent Video) every night at 20:00!

The 36-episode Chinese drama premiered on Tencent/WeTV on August 6th, and also has an English-dub version on WeTV.

Although it is several episodes behind the Chinese dub, and not particularly well-voiced, if you prefer an English dub to a drama’s original Chinese, there is that option.

Tencent has also released four pretty posters for the release schedule for the first week of episodes so you don’t miss them as new episodes drop.
