Now, considering Love in Red Dust is directed by Chu Yui Bun, the same director responsible for Blossoms in Adversity, Moonlit Mystique, Story of Kunning Palace, and The Long Ballad, chances are good that Love in Red Dust will be another enormous hit, don’t you think?

With Qin Wen (My Heroic Husband, You Are My Hero and Blossoms Shanghai) writing Love in Red Dust, we are also likely to get a decently-written script.
A script that is likely to be nicely acted by the exceptionally good main and supporting cast, which not only features leads Wang Xing Yue and Xu Ruo Han, but the superb Chang Long, Chen Shu Jun, He Lei, Hai Yi Tian and Cheung Siu Fai.

The Love in Red Dust plot is described by Baidu Baike like this:
Wen Ding Yi (played by Xu Ruo Han) is the daughter of Wen Lu, a former Vice Minister of Revenue.
Refusing to believe that her father is guilty of corruption, she plans to travel north to find her brother and seek more clues. At the same time, Prince Chun, Yuwen Hong Ce (Wang Xing Yue), is ordered to thoroughly investigate a corruption case within the court and is also heading north to the distant Liao Mountains. The two decide to travel together.
Along the way, they stand up for justice, punish evil and promote good. They foil a sinister scheme involving counterfeit money, expose a fraudulent charlatan pretending to be a spiritual figure, and capture criminals who harm the common people.
They even uncover signs that the Wudi people are secretly infiltrating the borders to stir up trouble.
Enjoy the Love in Red Dust wrap photos, and I’ll be back here on Leo Sigh as soon as information is released about the drama’s premiere.

Of course, considering the Chinese drama is now heading into post-production, don’t expect much news, if any, until some time in early 2026 at the earliest.
