August’s ‘The Apothecary Diaries’ seasonal visual drops – Maomao and Kyou-u pick summer fruit and vegetables
The August The Apothecary Diaries seasonal visual has dropped today via the anime’s X account, and this time it features Maomao and Kyou-u picking summer fruit and vegetables.
As you’d expect, “the brat” Kyou-u is carrying a watermelon and clowning around in the background just as he always does, while Maomao looks like the intense summer heat is getting to her a little bit.
The cute visual is one of a series of seasonal visuals being released for The Apothecary Diaries anime, with this one being the second in a second series that will run for the next year.
A new visual drops on the 22nd of each month — the 22nd of February being National Cat Day in Japan. (Maomao being our resident cat here, right?)
Season 3 of The Apothecary Diaries greenlit
Meanwhile, Season 2 of The Apothecary Diaries finished its 24-episode run on July 4th, with Season 3 of the hit anime already in production.
Season 2 of The Apothecary Diaries anime series was chief directed by first season director Norihiko Naganuma, who is also responsible for series composition, and directed by Akimi Fudesaka.
Yuuji Ikeda heads up the character design team, while TOHO Animation Studio (Muzik Tiger In the Forest) and OLM (Welcome to the Outcast’s Restaurant!) co-animated the series.
