Moonlit Reunion exceeds 100 million barrage comments – pretty celebratory poster drops of 4 main characters
As Moonlit Reunion male lead Mei Zhu Yu passes 100 million character popularity points today, another surprise also dropped via Tencent Video’s Weibo page as they announced the C-drama itself had exceeded 100 million barrage comments.
Barrage comments, of course, being those annoying comments that fly across the screen on most Asian streaming services when all you’re trying to do is watch a drama. (You can turn them off!)
Now, as you probably already know, barrage points do not mean a Chinese drama is liked, as people comment just as much about C-dramas they are not enjoying as those they are.
But it is a nice milestone for Moonlit Reunion that many people apparently felt passionate about the drama one way or the other, isn’t it?
A pretty celebratory poster featuring the dramas four main characters — played by Xu Kai, Tian Xi Wei, Wang Jia Yi and Wu Jun Ting — was also dropped, along with the comment:

Great news, Honey Bees! (the nickname for the drama’s fans) Congratulations to Moonlit Reunion for surpassing 100 million bullet comments!
The drama has officially joined the Tencent Video 100 Million Bullet Comment Club!
The Chinese drama is streaming on Disney+ in the United States, with Viki, WeTV and Tencent Video streaming it in other regions.
Its international ratings are also mixed, depending on which site you look at.
For instance, My Drama List users are currently rating Moonlit Reunion a quite low 7.9 out of 10, while IMDB users have it at 8.5 out of 10, and Viki (where it’s streaming outside the U.S.) has it at a very high 9.3 out of 10.
Be aware, though, high ratings for a drama like this are not always reliable, but are instead often indicative that fans of the leads Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei are watching and rating.
In other words, watch it for yourself.
