The drama itself began filming on May 31st of this year, with no word yet as to when filming ends/ended.

Tencent released two very pretty posters (above) celebrating Mo Li‘s 1 million reservations — one featuring Bai Lu and the other of Ryan Cheng — along with a comment simply saying:

Congratulations on #MoLi surpassing 1 million reservations#!

Thank you to all the Jasmine fans for your support and love~
In every glance, countless mysteries linger; behind each smile, layers of intentions await unraveling. #MoLi#

The Chinese drama is being directed by Lam Yuk Fan (Detective Investigation Files) and Leung Sing Kuen (The Demon Hunter’s Romance), and is written by Xiao Xiang Dong Er (A Moment But Forever/The Demon Hunter’s Romance).

The C-drama is based on the popular web novel “Sheng Shi Di Fei” (盛世嫡妃), which is written by Feng Qing (凤轻).

Obviously, so soon into the production process, information about Mo Li is minimal, but we do know it is slated to release on Tencent Video, and likely on WeTV international when it drops.

Enjoy the two new Mo Li posters, and be happy we are already getting promo pieces so early in the production.
