6 Blade of Vengeance character visuals drop – Gong Jun, Wang Yu Wen, Yu Cheng En and others

6 character visuals have been released for the Chinese wuxia drama Blade of Vengeance, which began filming earlier today.

Along with the very striking character visuals, which are similar in looks, Tencent Video also introduced the C-drama’s cast.

It includes male lead Gong Jun and female lead Wang Yu Wen, as well as Yu Cheng En, Wu Jun Ting, and Chen Si Yi.

The drama itself is presented by XiXi Pictures and Tencent Video, and is produced by XiXi Pictures.

Blade of Vengeance is being directed by Lin Shui Jing [Fighting Girl], and Li Cai (Ancient Love Poetry), and is co-written by Bian Zhi Hong, Sun Yuyun, Dong Han, and Song Mumei.

With a projected three-month filming schedule, followed by extensive post-production, Blade of Vengeance likely won’t see the light of day until some time in 2026.

But let’s just say, with Gong Jun being the best thing since $6.99 a month all-you-can-watch Chinese dramas since he starred in Word of Honor, and Wang Yu Wen being very popular since The Love You Give Me and Tiger and Crane, with these two together you can bet it will be a drama you will definitely want to watch.
