The latest data from Nielsen Korea shows A Hundred Memories, Episode 2 earned 3.58 percent, which is an increase from the rating of 3.28 percent it earned for its first episode on Saturday.

In Seoul, the Korean drama also saw an increase grabbing 3.86 percent last night versus Saturday night’s 3.45 percent.

International ratings for A Hundred Memories

As per usual, there is no point paying any attention to My Drama List’s ratings yet as trolls have already downrated A Hundred Memories to a stupidly low 7.5 out of 10 after its second episode.

The ratings are rising, however, as yesterday their ratings were an even more stupidly low 6.6 out of 10.

Looking at the overwhelmingly positive comments on the site, however, those ratings will increase as more people actually watching the drama rate it.

Meanwhile, more and more users of the site are noticing how unreliable the ratings on MDL are, with one commenting on A Hundred Memories page:

What is happening with this site.

Every time I check a new drama their ratings are going down drastically whilst reviews and comments are mostly positive. I don’t understand…I know ratings on here are mostly biased and inaccurate but it has not been this bad.

And yes, the person is correct.

Trolls ruining MDL’s ratings system hit every new drama right as it airs and, unfortunately, the administrators don’t seem to do much about it.

Meanwhile, as the previous commentator said, comments about A Hundred Memories on MDL are overwhelmingly positive after Episode 2, ranging from one person commenting the main actors:

This drama is a powerful story of ambition and resilience. Set during the tough period of the 1980s South Korean dictatorship and widespread poverty, the characters are determined to lift themselves up and achieve their own dreams.

The lead actresses are outstanding, their close female bond bringing a beautiful and sentimental vibe to the series.

while another is onboard with both female lead Kim Da Mi’s performance and every other character:

I love how Da Mi never repeats herself! Her acting range is incredible, and she brings a fresh energy to every drama. Truly captivating. And I adore every character in this drama, they’re all perfect for their roles.

As you’d expect, Viki viewers are rating A Hundred Memories a 9.5 out of 10 after Episode 2 with predominantly positive comments on that site as well.

A Hundred Memories stars Kim Da Mi, Shin Ye Eun, and Heo Nam Jun, and airs every Saturday and Sunday on JTBC in South Korea and on Viki internationally.

As for me, I am only one episode in so far but, even with just that viewing experience, it is a K-drama I recommend.
