A Hundred Memories, Ep 8 has BEST viewership yet as K-drama still captivates attention of international viewers
JTBC’s current Saturday/Sunday drama A Hundred Memories, Episode 8 aired last night to its best ratings yet.
According to data via Nielsen Korea, A Hundred Memories, Episode 8 earned 5.77 percent of the nationwide viewership – which is substantially up from the previous episode’s 4.62 percent.
The Korean drama did not earn its best ratings from viewers in Seoul, but was certainly close with last night’s 5.44 percent only slightly down from the drama’s current all-time high of 5.73 percent for Episode 6, and markedly up from Episode 7’s 4.08 percent.
Considering A Hundred Memories kicked off its first episode with just 3.28 percent nationwide and 3.45 percent from viewers in Seoul, its latest ratings then are superb.

The K-drama is also performing extremely well with international viewers, if you look at three of the most used platforms, and ignore one of the most used websites.
That website, My Drama List, still has the Korean drama at a low rating of 7.8 out of 10 – an obviously manipulated rating by the platform’s always-willing-to-downrate-most-dramas trolls as, when you read the comments from viewers watching the drama, they are overwhelmingly positive and insightful about the A Hundred Memories plot and its characters.
Particularly as IMDB, which has its own troll problem, is currently rating A Hundred Memories with a higher 8.1 out of 10 and Viki, the platform where the drama is streaming, is showing a rating of 9.6 out of 10 from almost 1,000 users.
In other words, as I always warn, never consider ratings before making a decision about a drama. Watch it and come to a conclusion yourself.
A Hundred Memories stars Kim Da Mi, Shin Ye Eun, and Heo Nam Jun.
It airs every Saturday and Sunday on JTBC, with Viki streaming the K-drama with subtitles in 27 languages including English, and with its next episode dropping on October 11th.
