Adventures in Subduing the Demons’ Yue Ying character PV shows off her powerful skills
Just a few days before the donghua Adventures in Subduing the Demons releases on YOUKU, and another character PV has hit — this time featuring Yue Ying, ally to protagonist Jiang Hao and someone who the production team calls a “mysterious” guardian.
Yue Ying’s character PV shows the powerful, and very cute, martial artist is not remotely afraid of a difficult battle as she attacks a red dragon spirit, heads into a fight with a member of the one-eyed tribe, and proves just one kick from her could decimate an enemy.
The martial artist herself shows up in Episode 1 as one of the first people Jiang Hao meets after he is transported into her violent prehistoric world.

The production company describes the donghua’s plot like this:
A civilization that has disappeared into the dust of time, where the ancient powerful sought their own path to kingship.
A modern young man, Jiang Hao, originally a mere pawn, steps into the prehistoric wilderness in search of his father’s whereabouts.
With his incomplete “power bank” totem, he fights against others, from primitive tribes to those running mysterious ancient cities, carving out a path for survival.
He fights against the earth, crossing the vast wilderness and hunting ancient beasts. From these beasts, he learns the ancient and mysterious totemic sorcery.
He fights against the heavens, as a magical light from beyond the sky suddenly appears, threatening to devour this magnificent land of Six Wastelands. He swims against the current, ignites himself, becoming a sun to battle the heavenly demons.
As he stirs the heavens and shakes the earth, he is unaware that the chains of fate have already bound him, while his father’s smile continues to linger.
The animated series’ first season comprises 26 episodes, with two episodes releasing on day one followed by a new one every subsequent week.
Watch Yue Ying’s character PV below, and head to YOUKU on November 11th when it premieres as, with this high level of animation and character models, it could be a standout this season.
