Bai Jing Ting’s Mobius drops character visuals – premiere date coming soon?

Chinese sci-fi thriller Mobius has dropped character visuals of its main cast today via iQIYI’s Weibo account.
Visuals that it’s calling the drama’s ‘Five-Limit Loop Stills’, and that arrived with a message confirming the C-drama’s main cast, and a tidbit about its plot:
#Mobius Five-Limit Loop Stills#
Amidst the mist and tangled clues, what truth lies within the five-limit loop? For more excitement, stay tuned on iQIYI.
Look forward to Ding Qi (played by Bai Jing Ting), An Lan (played by Janice Man), Mo Yuan Zhi (played by Song Yang), Jiang Yu Wen (played by Liu Yi Jun), Maggie (played by Chutimon Cheungcharoensukying), Yu Shi Ya (played by Zhang Bo Jia), Ye Kun (played by Han Li), and Han Yu Fei (played by Song Jia Teng.)
The 16-episode C-drama, which got its distribution license just three months after filming ended, does not yet have a premiere date, but promo pieces are starting to drop, so chances are it will be soon.

The Mobius plot, which has been released via Baidu Baike, is quite detailed and sounds particularly interesting. Especially if you like a thriller with an unusual twist:
A bank explosion shatters the tranquility of Huuao City. Standing amidst the devastating blast scene, Officer Ding Qi (played by Bai Jing Ting) remains unusually calm.
He knows this is not the “final outcome” but a “loop day”—a phenomenon where the world randomly enters five consecutive cycles, resetting to the previous day at midnight.
Ordinary people remain unaware, but with his unique ability to perceive these time loops, Ding Qi has repeatedly solved bizarre cases.
As new cycles begin one after another, strange occurrences emerge: multiple executives of a biotech group die under mysterious circumstances, accompanied by ominous squid-themed death warnings and a series of accidents…
Beneath the seemingly monotonous repetition of daily events, a conspiracy gradually surfaces. Ding Qi also discovers he is not the only one holding the “key to time.”
As multiple time-loop perceivers stir the fabric of spacetime, the final confrontation on the fifth loop day will unravel all mysteries.
Like I said, iQIYI has ramped up marketing for Mobius this week, and they don’t generally do that unless a C-drama is on its way soon.
Rumor in China, though, has it we can probably expect Mobius to drop sometime during the third week of September.
Hopefully so, and we’ll update you about that here at Leo Sigh as soon as a Mobius premiere date is confirmed by iQIYI.
Until then, enjoy the striking Mobius character visuals.
