Bai Yu and Zhou Yu Tong’s ‘Swords into Ploughshares’ drops poster to celebrate National Day
The upcoming Chinese historical drama Swords into Plougshares has dropped a new poster in celebration of National Day.
Chinese National Day is on October 1st every year, and celebrates the proclamation of the People’s Republic of China back in 1949.
That means, in 2025, it is now the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
The Swords into Ploughshares celebratory National Day poster came with a comment:

Wishing our motherland everlasting peace and prosperity. The drama will premiere on Tencent Video Stay tuned! And, of course, pre-register at Tencent.
Swords into Ploughshares is just one of several upcoming C-dramas celebrating National Day (including Li Yun Rui’s Combined Arms), along with the rest of China.
The C-drama itself stars Bai Yu (Guardian), Zhou Yu Tong (Me and My Family), Yu Hao Ming (Hunting), and Dong Yong (Genuine Heroes), with Zhu Ya Wen, Ni Da Hong, Tian Lei, Bao Jian Feng, Wang Jin Xin and Sui Yong Liang in its supporting cast.
It is directed by Yang Lei (The Legend of Heroes), and written by Dong Zhe (The Imperial Age).
No word yet on when the 40-episode will premiere but, when it does, it will stream on both Tencent and iQIYI depending on the region you live in.
