C-drama ‘The Heart, Season 2’ begins filming – booting ceremony photos of Mark Chao, Mao Xiao Tong and others drop

The first season of the Chinese medical-themed romance drama The Heart ended its 38-episode run on October 24th, 2023, so it’s been two years since we last saw Fang Xiao Ran, Lin Yi, Zhou Xiao Feng and the rest of the Dongli Hospital staff.

Now, with The Heart, Season 2 finally announcing it has just started filming today, we are finally going to be getting another look into everyone’s lives.

The Heart, Season 2 booting ceremony was promoted by iQIYI on their Weibo account this morning, with photos of some of the drama’s actors, and confirmation of a small number of the C-drama’s cast (it does have a very large cast what with medical staff, family members, friends and patients):
