Korean comedy romance drama Castaway Diva, Episode 10 aired last night to strong ratings, while remaining as the #1 most-watched show on cable TV on Sunday in South Korea.
Numbers from Nielsen Korea show Castaway Diva, Episode 10 earned 7.99 percent nationwide, which is a substantial increase from Episode 9’s rating of 7.31 percent.
The ratings for the drama in Seoul were also as impressive, with its 10th episode grabbing an 8.94 percent of the rating, which is a jump from Episode 9’s rating of 8.36 percent.
Both of these ratings made Castaway Diva the #1 most-watched cable show yesterday.
With the K-drama heading into its series finale next weekend, it is also very likely the last two episodes of Castaway Diva will see even higher ratings.
Castaway Diva’s success on Netflix
Meanwhile, on Netflix where the drama has been streaming for international viewers since October 28th, Castaway Diva is still on the platform’s Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart.
Last week, that was for the third week in a row and in the #5 spot.
On that platform, the K-drama has also had more than 15.2 million hours of its episodes viewed so far.
The final two episodes of Castaway Diva will air on tvN in South Korea next Saturday and Sunday, December 2nd and 3rd, at 21:20 (KST).
Netflix will air them worldwide for their international subscribers.
