Chao Seo Eun cast in Hi Cookie alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Choi Hyun Wook – drama premieres in October


South Korean actress Chao Seo Eun has been cast in the upcoming teen fantasy thriller drama Hi Cookie (title also currently being reported as High Cookie).

The 24-year old actress will join other cast members Nam Ji Hyun, Choi Hyun Wook, Kim Mu Yeol, Jung Da Bin and Seo Bum Jun, and will be playing the role of Yoo Na.

Chao Seo Eun’s agency The Way Company confirmed the actress’s Hi Cookie casting this week.

The 20-episode drama Hi Cookie is being directed by Song Min Yeop (Doctor Prisoner), with scripts by Kang Han who has recently written several Drama Special Season episodes.

Hi Cookie (aka 하이쿠키 in Korean) reportedly tells the story of what happens to a group of high school students at an elite school when homemade cookies are brought to school and eaten by several students.

Those cookies have the ability to make a person’s wish come true with just one bite, plunging the school and its students into turmoil.

Chae Seo Eun’s acting roles

Previous to her casting in Hi Cookie, the actress had a supporting role in last year’s Forecasting Love and Weather as well as a main role in the 2021 film Good Deal.

She has also had a support role in Mr. Queen and a guest spot in Hospital Playlist.

Chae Seo Eun’s role in High Cookie is her first of 2023.

The drama reportedly premieres in October via U+ Mobile TV.
