Dashing Youth’s 1st anniversary spawns new character visuals of Hou Ming Hao, He Yu, Hu Lian Xin and others
There was a fun Weibo post dropped this morning by Chinese streaming service YOUKU, who always do a good job reminding their viewers about C-drama anniversaries.
Todays post then celebrates Dashing Youth‘s first anniversary as, yes indeedy, it is already a year since the wuxia fantasy youth drama kicked off on July 19th, 2024, then ran for 40 episodes before ending on August 14th.
In celebration for what turned out to be a fun drama populated by characters you quickly grow to like (although I hated that ending with a fiery passion, didn’t you?), YOUKU has released 7 character visuals of its main cast, along with a celebratory visual for the C-drama’s first anniversary.
They also commented:
“#One Year Anniversary of Dashing Youth#
Hey! The passionate world of rivers and lakes, the spirited youth—we at YOUKU deeply miss the days of roaming the martial world with Baili Dongjun (@侯明昊Neo), Ye Dingzhi (@何与), Yue Yao (@胡连馨儿), Sikong Changfeng (@X玖少年团夏之光), Yi Wenjun (@姜贞羽-Aisling), Xiao Ruofeng (@白澍), and Nan Gong Chunshui (@张宸逍).
The carefree and heroic charm of these young warriors makes our hearts yearn for them every time we look back. #StayCoolInTheMorning# Come and relive the memories with us!”
Dashing Youth stars Hou Ming Hao, He Yu, Hu Lian Xin, Xia Zhi Guang, Jiang Zhen Yu, and Zhang Chen Xiao.
And, just like YOUKU hinted at, Dashing Youth is still streaming on their platform, with the first four episodes free-to-watch, and the rest available for VIP subscribers.

If you enjoy a male-oriented drama that focuses on the strong friendships between said young men, with a few female characters thrown in for good measure (one pretty powerful and cool, two whiny and annoying), and a drama that features solid CGI, beautiful cinematography, and a plot that holds your attention throughout, you will likely enjoy this one.
Enjoy its 1-Year Anniversary visuals then.
