Dog Knows Everything, Ep10 is #1 in time slot as K-drama heads into final week

With just two episodes left to air, the KBS2 drama Dog Knows Everything, Episode 10 grabbed the #1 spot in its time slot on Thursday night across all channels.

The Korean comedy drama earned 4.4 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is a nice increase from Episode 9’s rating of 3.8 percent, and sets the K-drama up nicely for record ratings for its final episodes.

Dog Knows Everything, Episode 10 also saw a decent increase in Seoul, where it jumped from its previous episode’s viewership of 3.6 percent to last night’s 3.8 percent.

It was also the 10th most-watched show of any kind for all of Thursday. Not bad for a main cast of actors largely over the age of 70, eh?

Headed by veteran actors Lee Soon Jae, Kim Yong Gun, Ye Soo Jung, Im Chae Moo, and Song Ok Sook, Dog Knows Everything is also earning a very high 9.7 out of 10 rating from international viewers watching the K-drama on Viki.

Comments too range from:

Love this show! The characters are really likeable and the stories/cases are interesting. Would really enjoy seeing more seasons with this cast. (Got to agree on this!)

Only 4 episodes so far – and I LOVE this series!! The actors are ALL great and the depiction of ELDERS and their problems with memory is TRUE!! Take it from an Elder!! I am just glad I remembered to write this review!!!!  (and then updated a week later to add…) TOTAL ENJOYMENT!!!! CRIED all through Ep #7!!

If you love a fun show with a stellar older cast that tells touching stories, and introduces compelling, sweet and interesting characters, all done with a feel-good vibe, (and of course that adorable dog) then I agree with the above commenters – you will enjoy Dog Knows Everything immensely.

The K-drama premiered on September 25th with higher ratings than the previous drama airing in its time slot.

The final two episodes of Dog Knows Everything will air/stream on KBS2 and Viki on October 30th and 31st.
