Esther Yu and Chen Jing Ke’s Road to Success wraps filming – cast photos released
The youth sports-themed Chinese drama Road to Success (灿如繁星), which stars Esther Yu and Chen Jing Ke has just wrapped up its filming after a four-month filming schedule that began on April 15th.
It has already been accepted for the iQIYI IP recommended drama list.
Photos from the wrap ceremony of the main cast were released by iQIYI this morning with the comment:

According to its Baidu Baike entry, the 30-episode contemporary drama’s plot looks like this:
Dr. Lin Wanxing (played by Yu Shuxin– aka Esther Yu) suddenly returns to her hometown and starts working as a sports equipment custodian at Hongjing No. 8 High School. Wang Fa (played by Chen Jing Ke) gives up his coaching job at a British football club and also returns to Hongjing, becoming Lin Wanxing’s mysterious tenant.
Lin Wanxing is tasked with leading the disbanded school football team to compete in the league, and as expected, they suffer a crushing defeat.
Fortunately, with Wang Fa’s guidance, they manage to scrape through and win the match. Afterward, Lin Wanxing persuades Wang Fa to take on the role of coach, reassembles the team, and mediates internal conflicts.
Just as everything seems to be getting back on track, the past scars of both Wang Fa and Lin Wanxing are gradually revealed, leading them to choose avoidance.
