The latest KBS2 weekend drama For Eagle Brothers, Episode 16 aired on Sunday night and soared even higher in the ratings, grabbing its highest audience share yet.
Those ratings via Nielsen Korea look like this…
A very high national rating for Eagle Brothers, Episode 16 on Sunday night of 20.7 percent. The second time the Korean drama has shot over the 20% mark, and now .70 higher than the 20% it earned for Episode 14.
And in Seoul, while the K-drama didn’t earn as high of an audience as it did nationwide, with it still grabbing 19.1 percent of that region’s viewership last night — a very nice jump from its previous highest rating of 18.4 percent for Episode 14, by the way — I doubt its director and superb cast are complaining much, eh?
As you might expect, both ratings also meant For Eagle Brothers, Episode 16 was the most-watched show of the entire week.
Its excellent main cast — Uhm Ji Won, Ahn Jae Wook, Choi Dae Chul, Kim Dong Wan, Yoon Park, Lee Seok Gi, and Yoo In Young — are probably incredibly grateful as well.
Especially as, with 34 more episodes of the weekend drama still to air, it has a huge amount of time left to skyrocket its ratings even higher.
Personally, as this has been one of the best KBS2 weekend dramas in a while (and freakin’ hilarious quite often too), I expect it. Don’t you?
The next episode of For Eagle Brothers will air on Saturday, March 29th on KBS2, with Viki, where it is also currently earning a very high 9.3 out of 10 rating, streaming it internationally.
Let’s see if it manages to grab another all-time high Saturday rating then.
