Gorgeous Ao Rui Peng and Landy Li Coroner’s Diary ‘photo album’ out as C-drama premieres on iQIYI
Now, personally, I struggled to get through the first episode of the quite-silly Chinese mystery drama Coroner’s Diary before dropping it earlier today.
Nothing about the Chinese drama stands out, except for its poor directing, amateurish acting (not on the part of the leads) and incredibly loud background music designed to smack you over the head with how ‘dramatic’ every scene turned out to be.
That is, except for the very pretty Coroner’s Diary cinematography, especially when it comes to the C-drama’s main leads — Ao Rui Peng and Landy Li — two very striking people, and ones the camera loves.
That pretty visual style has been carried over into a just-released Coroner’s Diary “photo album” of the two main leads — four photographs of Ao Rui Peng as Yan Chi, and four photographs of Landy Li as Qin Wan.
The 4 Ao Rui Peng photographs arrived with the comment:
#Coroner’sDiary# #Yan Chi Photo Album#
The white clothes are rolled up and dyed with unruly elegance, and the sharp edge of the sheath is hidden in the sunset.
Lock on iQiyi at 18:00 every day, and read Yan Chi (@敖瑞鹏’s) Weibo. He came on horseback with a sword and dispersed the dark clouds covering the sun in the court!
while Landy Li’s lovely photographs point out there’s something less obvious lying underneath:
#Coroner’sDiary# #Qin Wan Photo Album#
The soft light outlines the elegant outline, but the eyes hide the unyielding edge.
Lock on iQiyi at 18:00 every day to watch Qin Wan (@李兰迪) use the skills of a coroner to dissect the truth and maneuver in the court and behind the scenes to break the deadlock!
Enjoy!
