Data via Nielsen Korea shows Head Over Heels, Episode 1 premiered to 4.29 percent of the nationwide viewership, and 4.69 percent of the Seoul audience on Monday night.

Those ratings bode well for the fantasy romance drama’s 12-episode run, as they were also higher than its predecessor — Second Shot at Love — which started off its run with 3.35 percent nationwide and 4.34 percent in Seoul.

In fact, out of the five K-dramas that have aired in that timeslot on tvN this year (Second Shot at Love, The Divorce Insurance, My Dearest Nemesis, and The Queen Who Crowns), only The Queen Who Crowns earned higher ratings for its first episode (4.87 percent nationwide and 5.13 percent).
