Head Over Heels Ep12 ends K-drama on BEST ratings – international viewers still rate it high
I’m very happy to see the well-written, superbly-acted K-drama Head Over Heels, Episode 12 ending the series’ run last night with all-time high ratings in both South Korean regions.
According to Nielsen Korea, Head Over Heels, Episode 12 earned 4.94 percent of the nationwide audience, which is a slight increase from the 4.68 percent it garnered for its previous episode on Monday.
In Seoul, the tvN drama earned an even higher 5.10 percent, which is up from Episode 11’s 4.61 percent on Monday night.
I’m happy for the director, cast and crew who went out on a big win, aren’t you?
The tvN romantic fantasy will be followed by Love Take Two starring Yum Jung Ah and Park Hae Joon, which begins airing in the same time slot on August 4th.
International viewers rating Head Over Heels after series finale
Meanwhile, over 8,100 international viewers using My Drama List have given the K-drama a very high 8.6 out of 10 as it ends.
The only complaint some had is that the ending was “rushed”, and that a 16-episode drama rather than its 12-episode run would have been better.
I concur with that 100 percent.
Meanwhile, over 1,100 users of IMDB are rating Head Over Heels 8.2 out of 10, which is a solid rating from users of that site.
Head Over Heels stars Cho Yi Hyun, Choo Young Woo, Cha Kang Yoon, and Choo Ja Hyun.
The Korean drama aired from June 23rd to July 29th on tvN and TVING in South Korea, and Amazon Prime Video internationally.
You can watch all 12 episodes now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
