I Parry Everything Season 2 announced with funny visual of Noor and friends

One of the biggest surprises for me, when it comes to action adventure anime dropping in Summer, 2024, was the blandly titled I Parry Everything.

An anime that turned out to be nicely animated, with an entertaining and fun plot, a cute art style, a heckuva lot of heart, and a protagonist (Noor) who might be one of the stupidest men in anime but, man, you still had to love him.

Especially when his insane parry skills went to work.

And now, almost a year after the final episode of I Parry Everything, Season 1 aired, we finally have confirmation a Season 2 is on its way.

Hallefreakinglujah, because I would have been so upset if one season was the only thing we got of Noor. and the people he has gathered around him.

The announcement of Season 2 came via the Earth Star Novel 10th Anniversary Summer Festival in Akihabara this weekend, with voice actors Daiki Hamano, who plays Noor, Ryouko Maekawa, who voices Lynne, Nanako Mori, who voices Ines, and Ayumu Murase, who plays Rolo informing the audience of the new season. A funny visual of Noor holding that ridiculously huge weapon of his and, apparently, being sent off by his friends to kill another villain was also released via the official I Parry Everything X account. (below)

Something that, from the terrified look on his face, isn’t something he’s looking forward to.

Especially as he still has no idea he actually saved the entire kingdom last season. (Well, I did say he wasn’t the shiniest sword in the armory, didn’t I?)

Meanwhile, we don’t have any actual details about Season 2 of the fantasy anime, including the staff and its premiere date. They will come later.

If it turns out to be the same staff involved in production, however, it will be director Dai Fukuyama who was also in charge of storyboarding, with Shigeru Murakoshi (Ninja Kamui) providing the series composition, and Chikako Noma and Toshiaki Oohashi both designing the characters and working as chief animation directors.

Hopefully too it’s Studio OLM who will be animating the next season, as they did a lovely job with Season 1.
