The ongoing tvN drama Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born, Episode 3 aired last night to another personal high in the ratings as it continues to climb ever on upwards.
According to the latest data via Nielsen Korea, Jeongnyeon: The Star is Born, Episode 3 grabbed 9.22 percent of the nationwide audience on Saturday night, which is up from Episode 2’s viewership of 8.21 percent.
It saw a slight drop in its ratings with Seoul audiences, however, as it earned 8.88 percent versus its last episode’s 8.91 percent — virtually the same, in other words.
Just like its first two episodes, the coming-of-age period drama was #1 in its time slot, and that includes both on pay TV and on public broadcasting channels.
Meanwhile, while it doesn’t seem to be making waves on Disney+ in Europe or North America as yet, the Korean drama has also hit the Top 10 in three countries in Asia — Hong Kong at #6, and Taiwan and South Korea at #3.
Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born stars the all-female main cast of Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, Ra Mi Ran, Jung Eun Chae and Kim Yoon Hye.
The Korean drama’s next episode will hit tvN tonight at 21:20 (KST), with Disney+ streaming it in a select number of regions.
