Jing Tian and Zhang Binbin’s ‘Long Gu Fen Xiang’ booting ceremony photos, cast, director drop as filming starts
It’s finally official!
The supernatural fantasy romance C-drama Long Gu Fen Xiang (no official English title yet, although it nicely translates to ‘Dragon Bone Incinerator‘) has begun filming.
The booting ceremony photos were dropped via Tencent’s Weibo account a couple of hours ago, with the main cast of Jing Tian, Zhang Binbin and Yang Haoyu (see the trio below), along with the drama’s director, confirmed.
Tencent also commented:

Filming kicked off today, with a reported 36 episodes to finish.
Long Gu Fen Xiang production details
The Chinese drama is being directed by Li Muge (Rattan), with Wei Yu (Rattan) writing the scripts. It also stars the aforementioned Jing Tian and Zhang Binbin (aka Vin Zhang), who will be reuniting for the first time after also starring in Rattan.
So, yep, a nice reunion all around, eh?
Yang Haoyu (White Cat Legend) is also starring, along with a supporting cast that includes Ge Qiugu (Their Wonderful Time), Yang Yuxi (Be Your Knight), and Duan Yu (Go Back Lover).
Baidu Encyclopedia describes the Long Gu Fen Xiang plot very succinctly without giving pretty much of anything away:
The chime falls silent, the Seven Scrolls vanish, the Water Sprite fades, the Mountain Sprite disperses.
A journey of fantasy and adventure begins today.
Enjoy the Long Gu Fen Xiang booting ceremony photos.
We’ll be back with more information here on Leo Sigh about the C-drama as soon as it drops.
