KICK KICK KICK KICK Ep 4 ratings collapse – most unsuccessful KBS2 drama of 2025?

The ratings for the ongoing Korean drama KICK KICK KICK KICK, Episode 4 collapsed last night, down to a new all-time low and, for the first time, under 1.0 percent of the audience share.

This after the KBS2 drama managed to rally a little with its third episode on Wednesday night, ending up with a nationwide rating of 1.2 percent.

Last night, however, KICK KICK KICK KICK, Episode 4 aired to a nationwide rating of just 0.7 percent — it’s lowest ever rating, and one that placed it as the 60th most-watched show of the day — down from 37th the day before.

Seoul ratings were so low, they are not even being reported.

Considering that Who is She, the drama that aired in the same time slot prior to the premiere of KICK KICK KICK KICK on February 5th began with a nationwide rating of 3.9 percent, and ended with a 3.4 percent for its final episode, last night’s rating for KICK KICK KICK KICK is dismal indeed.

So dismal, in fact, it will likely end up as the most unsuccessful KBS2 drama of 2025 if things don’t improve for it quickly.

Then again, it does air opposite Mister Trot 3, TV Chosun’s popular talent show, on Thursday night’s so there’s that.

International ratings for KICK KICK KICK KICK after Episode 4 still low

Meanwhile, international audiences are also still rating the K-drama low, with My Drama List users giving it a 7.7 out of 10 after Episode 4, although that has risen slightly from the 7.6 it was earning after Episode 3.

Comments too are overwhelmingly negative on that site, ranging from:

Script writing and screen writing is SO BAD. I was literally excited to have a funny comedy drama, but this is disaapointment.

They’re doing forced comedy with forced dialogues. Even dad jokes are better than this.

I love silly comedies like Seoul Busters and Gays Electronics but none of this makes sense, and it doesn’t help that most of the characters are unlikable. Plus, the shifting between storylines and scenes is so abrupt and jarring.

Korean drama fans watching KICK KICK KICK KICK on Viki are rating the series even lower with a 6.9 out of 10, and similarly negative comments.

Although, again, that site’s rating has risen by .10 percent since Episode 3.

In other words, let’s keep an eye on the KICK KICK KICK KICK ratings going forward but, if things don’t improve quickly, this could end up being the lowest rated KBS2 drama of the year.

KICK KICK KICK KICK stars Ji Jin Hee, Lee Kyu Hyung, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Min Jae.

The Korean drama airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:50 (KST).
