Legend of the Female General’s He Yan (aka Zhou Ye) hits 10 million on character popularity index
The Tencent war-themed drama Legend of the Female General has just dropped its 10th episode, and Tencent Video is reporting female lead He Yan (played by Zhou Ye) has already hit 10 million on the character popularity index.
A Tencent celebratory visual of the actress playing He Yan was uploaded to Weibo this morning, along with the comment:

In other words, Chinese fans of the drama should just keep doing what they’re doing, and He Yan’s popularity will rise even further, right?
Legend of the Female General has also hit the huge milestone of 26000 on Tencent Video’s heat index as of this morning. (25000 being the milestone Tencent usually uses to show a drama is a big success of the platform).
The Chinese drama itself premiered on Tencent and WeTV on August 6th, and has been going gangbusters ever since.
It is currently being rated a very high 8.6 out of 10 from viewers using My Drama List, and is also garnering a similarly high 8.4 out of 10, although that’s from only 24 viewers so far.
