Li Shaoying character PV has The Demon Hunter 2 genius appearing as arrogant as she is beautiful
It looks like we will be getting character videos for many of the so-called Top 10 geniuses who will be competing in the Yuanchu Mountain Trials in the upcoming donghua The Demon Hunter 2 (aka Cang Yuan Tu), as one after another drops via YOUKU’s YouTube channel.
We already have one for Yan Jin, Liu Qiyue, Ji Yuan Tong, Chu Yong, and, of course, a character PV for protagonist Meng Chuan.
The next in line then is Li Shaoying’s character PV, which shows one of the cultivation “geniuses” looking like she may be as arrogant as she is strong, and as she is beautiful.
But what is her aim when it comes to Meng Chuan? And will she turn out to be a friend or a foe?
Who is Li Shaoying?
If you watched the first season of The Demon Hunter, you will remember Li Shaoying was mentioned right at the end of Episode 30 as Meng Chuan and Yan Jin are talking about the people they will be competing against in the trials.
As Meng Chuan discovered he was close to the bottom of the 500 geniuses arriving to compete, Li Shaoying was one of the Top 10 geniuses mentioned — at #4 and named Frosty-Night Hunter.
In Li Shaoying’s PV she is seen walking away from one of the first rounds of the Yuanchu trials, in another scene she appears to be weighing up one of her rivals, and not looking too impressed with what she sees.
Then again, she is the fourth ranked competitor, so it appears it will take a lot to beat her.
The Shenman Entertainment animated donghua itself is scheduled to begin streaming on YOUKU, both on their app and their YouTube channel, starting December 6th, 2024.
