Li Yun Rui and Chen Yong Sheng’s ‘Combined Arms’ drops poster to celebrate China’s National Day
The upcoming Chinese army-themed action drama Combined Arms has released a new poster today celebrating China’s National Day.
It is one of several posters released by Chinese drama’s (including Swords into Ploughshares) to celebrate one of the country’s most important days — the commemoration of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949.
In the Combined Arms poster, we see the backs of the C-drama’s main characters as they wave in celebration, and as birds fly in the air.
The drama itself tells the story of the rivalry between two men in an elite army division.
The National Day poster also came with a comment from production company Tencent Video, who says:

With passion guarding our land and forging glory, TV Series Combined Arms wishes a happy birthday to our motherland!

The Chinese drama stars Li Yun Rui and Chen Yong Sheng, with Leo Zhou, Lu Qi, Feng Man and Zhou Fang as the main supporting cast.
While there has been no announcement about the Combined Arms premiere date yet, Tencent did announce the C-drama had earned more than 700,000 reservations back in late August.
And that’s without a premiere date in sight.
We’ll keep you updated as more information drops but, as Combined Arms ended its filming back in early December last year, let’s just say hopefully it will be soon.
