The cast and crew of the Korean mystery drama Longing for You will be thrilled with last night’s ratings in South Korea
According to Nielsen Korea, Longing for You, Episode 14 earned 4.11 percent of the nationwide audience share, which is an increase from its previous episode’s 3.59 percent and a record rating for the Na In Woo, Kim Ji Eun-led drama.
In Seoul, the drama saw a similar result, grabbing an even higher 4.69 percent of the audience, which was an increase from Episode 13’s rating of 3.58 percent.
Both ratings placed the drama in first place on cable TV.
Longing for You ratings rose throughout entire series
The rating for Longing for You, Episode 14 is particularly welcome as the drama premiered on July 26th with just 1.40 percent rating nationwide and 1.35 percent in Seoul.
The ENA drama then continued to climb in the ratings with each new episode, and as more viewers became interested in the intriguing plot, until its finale ended on last night’s record high.
Longing for You stars Na In Woo, Kim Ji Eun, Kwon Yul, Bae Jong Ok, Lee Kyu Han, and Jung Sang Soon, and tells the story of a rural detective who becomes involved in a serial murder case after his brother is named as a suspect.
The final episode of this excellent drama is now available for streaming on Viki for international viewers.
And, as I say in every article about Longing for You, ignore the very low ratings for the drama on sites like Viki and IMDB.
They are due to Arab trolls downrating the drama because a character wore Arab dress for a few seconds in one episode.
