Hou Ming Hao and Lu Yu Xiao-led Chinese drama Love in the Clouds has an October 8th premiere date and, with those two as the main leads, is anyone surprised Love in the Clouds has just exceeded 3 million reservations on YOUKU?

I know I’m definitely not. Even though it has only been just over a week since the C-drama hit 2 million reservations.

Not with Hou Ming Hao (aka our beloved Neo) being such a freaking stud, and Lu Yu Xiao easily one of the most talented actresses coming out of China right now. (Have you seen her in Blossoms in Adversity? Amazing!!)

The C-drama’s 3 million reservations were announced by YOUKU earlier today with a visual featuring the two leads, and a comment:

The Chinese wuxia fantasy drama also features an excellent supporting cast that includes Yu Cheng En (City of Romance), He Nan (My Beloved Concubine), Quan Yi Lun (Legend of Zang Hai), Hu Yun Hao (Feud), Zhu Li Lan (Threads of Destiny), Wu Yi Qiao (Serial Homicide) and Lu Qi (Brocade Odyssey).

The 36-episode C-drama is based on the web novel “Ru Qing Yun” (入青云) by Bai Lu Cheng Shuang (白鹭成双), and is directed by Peng Xue Jun (The Legend of Xiao Chuo), and Zhi Zhu (An Ancient Love Song).
