One thing I knew the minute the first episode of the ongoing K-drama Love Scout was over with was it would likely be a huge hit.
Well-written and directed, beautifully acted and with two leads — Han Ji Min and Lee Joon Hyuk — who have wonderful chemistry together, it was pretty obvious K-drama romance fans would obsess over this one.
Now, with Love Scout, Episode 4 airing last night to yet another ratings rise, it appears my prediction is coming true.
After all, not only did Love Scout soar into double digits on Friday night, last night it cemented its success even more by earning yet another ratings increase.
This time, Love Scout, Episode 4 grabbed 11.3 percent of the nationwide audience share in South Korea — up from its previous episode’s already high 10.5 percent, and more than double Episode 1’s strong viewership of 5.2 percent.
The Korean drama performed equally well with viewers in Seoul as well, where it earned the same 11.3 percent — a very nice increase from Episode 3’s audience share of 10.3 percent.
Congratulations to Han Ji Min and Lee Joon Hyuk, the director, the writer and the rest of the cast and crew.
The K-drama itself has a total of 12 episodes and, if I am not mistaken, we will very likely see even higher ratings going forward.
Watch all four released episodes of Love Scout now on Viki, where over 2,600 people are now giving it a crazy high ratings average of 9.8 out of 10 — and yep, it deserves it.
