Love, Take Two Ep 4 grabs highest rating so far – international ratings are mixed
New tvN Monday/Tuesday drama Love, Take Two aired its fourth episode last night, and grabbed the K-drama’s highest rating so far both with nationwide viewers and those in Seoul.
That nationwide rating, according to Nielsen Korea, was 3.77 percent, which is up from Episode 3’s viewership of 3.56 percent.
Meanwhile, the Korean drama’s rating in Seoul was an even higher 4.03 percent on Tuesday night — up from its previous episode’s 3.73 percent.
Of course, the tvN drama has experienced increased ratings as every new episode drops since it premiered on August 4th, so Love, Take Two, Episode 4’s best ratings yet are pretty much expected.
Love, Take Two international ratings
Meanwhile, international ratings for the Korean rom-com are mixed.
Over on My Drama List (MDL), Love, Take Two is earning a low 7.8 out of 10 from the 300 users who are currently rating the K-drama on that platform.
As that website does have a problem with trolls deliberately downrating dramas though, no rating on MDL is reliable until a drama has at least passed the halfway mark and, even then, they are often still suspect.
I will say, however, the viewers who are commenting that Love, Take Two is “confusing” or “doesn’t make sense” do have a point as, while the plot is interesting and the performances are on point, it could have been better written.
The Korean drama is performing much better on IMDB, however, where it is currently rated an 8.0 out of 10.
But it is being the most well-received over on Viki, where it is streaming, and where viewers are rating it a 9.6 out of 10 so far.
Love, Take Two stars Yum Jung Ah, Park Hae Joon, Choi Yoon Ji, and Kim Min Kyu, and airs every Monday and Tuesday evening on tvN in South Korea, with Viki streaming the drama internationally.
The Korean drama’s next episode airs on Monday, August 18th.
