Meng Chuan character PV intros The Demon Hunter 2 protagonist as patient and matter-of-fact

What is likely the final The Demon Hunter 2 character PV to be released came out late yesterday and, as you might expect, it is protagonist Meng Chuan’s character PV.

Yep, they made us wait, but our boy is worth it, eh?

A character PV that, right from its first scene, establishes the patience and matter-of-factness of Meng Chuan’s personality as he simply states:

What’s the point of betting on my life and death? It’s better to bet on who can become a god.

And, if you know anything about The Demon Hunter hero, he obviously believes that that, of course, is him.

The rest of Meng Chuan’s character video shows off some of his amazing fighting skills.

Skills that are likely to increase exponentially soon after Season 2 kicks off, and he and his friends head to Yuanchu Mountain for the entrance trials.

The Demon Hunter 2 protagonist, by the way, is voiced by relative newcomer San Shin, who does a stunning job.

Other character PVs released this week include those for Liu Qiyue, #2 genius Chu Yong, Meng Chuan’s friend Yan Jin, Ji Yuan Tong and #4 genius and Frosty Night Hunter Li Shaoying.

Season 2 of the Chinese anime The Demon Hunter premieres next week — Friday, December 6th — for another 26 episodes, taking over from Apotheosis, which has just finished its 52-episode run.

And, if you have watched the trailers and character PVs that have been released over the last couple of weeks, you will easily be able to see it isn’t a stretch to say The Demon Hunter 2 will be one of the big hits of the year.
