Miss Night and Day Ep 13 is #1 most-watched program on Saturday beating Olympic Games

The ongoing South Korean drama Miss Night and Day, Episode 13 was the #1 most-watched program of any kind on Saturday across all channels in South Korea.

That means its audience even beat the Olympics, which is currently being aired on SBS in place of its usual dramas.

According to Nielsen Korea, Miss Night and Day, Episode 13 earned 7.94 percent nationwide on Saturday evening.

That rating is quite a bit higher than its previous already high Saturday’s audience share of 7.10 percent, as well as the K-drama’s highest ever rating on a Saturday.

In Seoul, Miss Night and Day also grabbed #1 ratings, with an even higher 8.13 percent of the viewership.

Likely to see even higher ratings for Miss Night and Day going forward

With just three episodes left to air before Miss Night and Day ends its run on August 4th, we can probably expect to see the superb Korean drama grab even higher ratings yet.

In fact, with SBS canceling its dramas due to airing the Olympics instead, both Miss Night and Day and tvN’s The Auditors performed superbly last night.

That’s likely because most Korean drama fans have as much interest in watching the Olympics as I do. None.

The next episode of Miss Night and Day, which stars Lee Jung Eun, Jung Eun Ji and Choi Jin Hyuk, will air on JTBC in South Korea at 22:30 (KST) tonight.

International viewers can watch it on Netflix.
