Miss Night and Day Ep 6 has another huge ratings rise as K-drama is a big success on Netflix

The superb rom-com drama Miss Night and Day, Episode 6 aired on Sunday night to new all-time ratings in South Korea.

Nielsen Korea is reporting the latest episode of the Lee Jung Eun, Jung Eun Ji and Choi Jin Hyuk-led drama grabbed 7.66 percent of the nationwide audience, which is a big jump from its previous episode’s already strong 6.15 percent of the viewership.

That ratings jump was also evident with audiences in Seoul, where Episode 6 of the JTBC drama saw its ratings rise from Saturday night’s 6.87 percent to Sunday night’s 8.21 percent.

With 10 more episodes to air, and Miss Night and Day being such a well-written, funny and superbly-acted drama, I doubt it will be long before it hits double digits in the ratings game as well.

Fingers crossed!

Miss Night and Day a big hit on Netflix

The Korean supernatural rom-com’s success in South Korea has also translated into popularity on Netflix, where the K-drama is streaming in some regions of the world.

On that platform, it is currently sitting at #6 on the Netflix Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart as of last Tuesday.

When the latest data is released by the streaming platform tomorrow, I would also not be surprised if it has climbed even higher.

The next episode of Miss Night and Day will air next Saturday, July 6th at 22:30 (KST) on JTBC in South Korea.

Netflix will also stream it in the regions it has licensed the Korean drama around the same time.
