My Lovely Liar Ep 2 ratings RISE as mystery drama intrigues viewers

My Lovely Liar, Ep 2 has ratings increase of .42 percent over first episode nationwide

The new tvN mystery drama My Lovely Liar, Episode 2 aired last night to increased ratings over its first episode.

New official figures via Nielsen Korea show the Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun-led drama saw an increase from the drama’s first episode of 2.58 percent rating nationwide to last night’s 3.00 percent.

A fast .42 percent increase over the rating for Episode 1.

The ratings for the drama in Seoul were equally as good, with My Lovely Liar, Episode 2 garnering an even higher 3.19 percent of the audience share, which was an increase from the 2.20 percent the drama earned for Episode 1.

My Lovely Liar‘s international audience

After My Lovely Liar, Episode 2 aired last night, international audiences still watching and commenting on the drama via My Drama List are still rating it an 8.57 percent out of 10 —  a very high rating for users of that Asian-drama focused site.

Comments are also primarily positive, although some users are commenting on the less-than-stellar acting skills of the main leads and the messiness of the plot.

Personally, I disliked the first episode of My Lovely Liar as the plot is a huge mess, but I will give Episode 2 a chance later on today before it becomes a drop for me.

My Lovely Liar airs on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 20:50 (KST), and will continue to do so until September 19th.

Viki is streaming the mystery drama outside South Korea for international K-drama fans.
