The new tvN drama My Lovely Liar, Episode 5 aired in South Korea last night to the drama’s highest rating since its premiere on July 31st.
According to Nielsen Korea, My Lovely Liar, Episode 5 grabbed 3.01 percent of the audience, which is up from Episode 4’s 2.88 percent and the highest rating the mystery drama has earned to date.
In Seoul, the drama saw a similar result with the latest episode earning 3.77 percent of the audience compared to Episode 4’s 3.07 percent.
Both ratings placed the drama in second place on cable TV.
My Lovely Liar‘s international viewers still enamoured
International viewers of My Lovely Liar also seem to still be loving the drama with My Drama List users rating it an 8.6 out of 10, which is a very high rating for that site.
On Viki, where the drama is streaming outside South Korea, My Lovely Liar is rated a crazy high 9.7 out of 10 and, on IMDB, another site where ratings are notoriously low, viewers are rating the drama 8.4 out of 10.
My Lovely Liar is directed by Nam Sung Woo, and stars Kim So Hyun and Hwang Min Hyun.
In South Korea, the drama airs every Monday and Tuesday evening at 20:50 (KST).
Episode 6 of the drama will air later on tonight in Korea, with Viki streaming it for international audiences soon after.
