A Season 2 for the popular romance anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten was announced this week and, along with that announcement of more green-lit episodes with the adorably sweet Shiina and the ultra-sensitive Fujimiya, we also got a cute teaser visual.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Season 2 teaser visual features Shiina sitting on the swing where Fujimiya first saw her, with the wind blowing in the background as her hair swings wildly to the side.
Above her head, you can see the feathers that must have escaped from the “angel wings” Shiina keeps hidden, as there is no other possible explanation for just how lovely this beautiful girl turned out to be.
Original light novel illustrator Hanekoto drew the adorably cute teaser visual.
Along with the new The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Season 2 teaser visual, we also got a Season 2 announcement trailer (watch below) that gives us a quick look back at why many of us loved this romantic anime so much to start with.

Everything from when Shiina and Fujimiya first meet as she sits gloomily on the swing, to the relationship they begin to develop as Shiina shows up at Fujimiya’s apartment and begins to cook and clean for him is laid out in the 1-minute-7-second video, culminating with the much-welcomed announcement that Season 2 is now in development.
There is no word yet on the staff or cast for Season 2, but we can tell you who was involved in the first season of the anime, most of whom will (hopefully) be returning for its follow-up.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is based on the light novel series (titled お隣の天使様にいつの間にか駄目人間にされていた件 aka Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsu no Ma ni ka Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken, or literal translation The Case of the Neighbourhood Angel Turning Me Into a Degenerate Unaware).
The series is written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto, and is currently being published in English by Yen Press, with five volumes currently out, and a sixth one due in January, 2024.
No word yet on when The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, Season 2 will premiere, but we will keep you updated as soon as we find out.
