New Beastars graphic makes me even more excited for new Netflix anime

A new Beastars anime graphic has just been released, and it has done nothing but make me even more excited for this new anime TV series to air.

Beastars, of course, is the new anime TV series based on the award-winning manga series by Paru Itagaki.

It is being created by Japanese animation studio Orange, and will be airing on Fuji TV’s +Ultra, along with being an exclusive on Netflix.

The new anime is set in a world of animals who are both herbivores and carnivores, and centers around the character of Legosi, a grey wolf who is a stagehand in his school’s drama club.

Everything is going fine in Legosi’s world until an alpaca is murdered and eaten.

All of a sudden, suspicion grows between the herbivores and the carnivores as to who is responsible, setting the stage for a whole lot of trouble to occur.

Just like it does in the real world between members of any group when a murder takes place, and someone in another group may be responsible.

Beastars will air on Netflix sometime in October.

The anime stars the voices of Chikahiro Kobayashi and Sayaka Senbongi among many other superb Japanese voice actors.

Check out the teaser trailer below for just a glimpse of how gorgeous the animation is likely to be, and obsess over that new Beastars anime graphic.

October can’t come soon enough.

Update: Beastars is now streaming on Netflix worldwide
