Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! trailer features Melphiera and Aristide’s first meeting
When it comes to weirdos attracting, you don’t get much stranger than Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! protagonists Melphiera Marchalrayd and Aristide Rogier du Galbraith, aka the “Blood-Mad Duke” of Galbraith.
After all, while not initially known to each other, the pair quickly become a match made in heaven when they realize their strange proclivities are actually quite similar.
And those strange proclivities are the subject of a new Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! trailer.
One that dropped for the gourmet-themed fantasy anime earlier today, as Melphiera and Aristide figure out they both have the same passion — eating gourmet dishes made from monster meat.
Yep, as prospective partners in love go, in this case the couple who dine together may just end up staying together.
Especially because, as Melphiera comments right at the beginning of the trailer, not only are they both interested in monster meat, but Aristide is stunningly beautiful as well.
Kanna Nakamura (Anne in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) voices Melphiera Marchalrayd, while Taito Ban (Rietz in As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World) plays Aristide Roger de Galbraith.

Of course, once you meet the person you were meant to be with, you immediately become captivated.
Just as Aristide and Melphiera obviously are in the new Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! visual, as he grabs her and they stare into each other’s eyes.
The visual came out on the official Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! X account, with the comment:

and a reminder that the anime premieres in October.
Its full plot, which is adapted from the manga by Kanata Hoshi and Peperon, goes like this:
Melphiera, the daughter of an earl, is shunned by other nobles because of a certain hobby.
Attacked by a magical beast at a party she attends in search of a fiancé, she is saved by Duke Galbraith, who has the dishonorable nickname of the “Mad-Blooded Duke.”
Intrigued by Melphiera’s lack of fear of magical beasts, the Mad-Blooded Duke also shows interest in her secret “hobby,” which has led to rumors that she is a “gluttonous lady”..
