Our Unwritten Seoul EP 8 earns ANOTHER all-time high rating – international viewers also still loving it
As I expected after this week’s buzz, K-drama Our Unwritten Seoul, Episode 8 continued to climb in the ratings on Sunday night, grabbing yet another all-time personal best.
That latest all-time high nationwide rating for the tvN drama was 7.37 percent last night — which was substantially up from the 6.45 percent the Korean drama earned for its seventh episode on Saturday night.
The same occurred with viewers in Seoul, with Episode 8 of the ongoing coming-of-age romance drama grabbing 8.32 percent of the viewership.
That is also a huge increase from its previous episode’s already solid 6.73 percent on Saturday. Yay!!!
International viewers ratings for Our Unwritten Seoul continue to remain high
Meanwhile, ratings from international viewers are not falling either.
Over on My Drama List (MDL), the extremely high 8.7 out of 10 the K-drama has been earning since June 11th is still at that same high, and with over 3,200 people rating it so far.
The oft-disgruntled users of IMDB are also awarding Our Unwritten Seoul a very high 8.6 out of 10.
But, the piece de resistance is still the Korean drama’s popularity on Netflix, where it is streaming internationally.
On that platform, Our Unwritten Seoul is currently at #6 on the Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart for its second week, after debuting on the chart at #3 the week before.
The updated chart for the streaming platform will drop tomorrow and, from the buzz the drama has been receiving in the last few days, my sense is it may have climbed higher again.
Our Unwritten Seoul stars Park Bo Young, Park Jin Young, and Ryu Kyung Soo, and airs every Saturday and Sunday evening.
With four more episodes still to drop, it ends its 12-episode run on June 29th.
