Please Put Them On, Takamine-san creditless opening and ending animations nicely intro Takane

The art style in both the opening and ending animations is stellar

Just over a week after the anime premiered, Please Put Them On, Takamine-san creditless opening and ending animations have now been released via the anime’s X account.

And, yep, they do a lovely job of introducing goddess Takane Takamine as well as both include the anime’s banging theme songs. (watch both videos below).

Those theme songs, of course, are Baby Baby Baby by Masami Okui FEAT Bonjour Suzuki as its OP, which also served as the ED for Episode 1, and Hightail it‘ by Makoto Furukawa as the anime’s official ED.

Along with the theme songs, we also got the full opening and ending animations that feature that stunning art style.

As, sure, Please Put Them On, Takamine-san may be ecchi and so more than just a bit “suggestive” in content, but that doesn’t take anything away from just how darned pretty the whole thing looks.

Then again, it is Liden Films in charge of animation, so there’s that.

Please Put Them On, Takamine-san details

The comedy romance (ecchi) anime Please Put Them On, Takamine-san premiered on April 2nd on AT-X and Tokyo MX in Japan, with streaming internationally via Crunchyroll.

The anime adaptation is based on the hit manga written and illustrated by Yuichi Hiiragi.

If you’re new to the series, Volume 1 of its original Japanese manga describes the Please Put Them On, Takamine-san plot in this way:

Student Council President Takamine is at the absolute peak of the school caste—practically a goddess!

Meanwhile, Shirota-kun, a boy with no friends or presence and so Takamine’s direct opposite in every way, ends up seeing something he shouldn’t. From there, his school life begins to change —

To his shock, Takamine possesses a special power that lets her manipulate time by removing her panties. Unable to go without them, she forces Shirota-kun to act as her personal “panty closet,” constantly begging him for her peach-colored underwear…

Until he can’t help but say:

“Please put them on, Takamine!”

The manga is so popular that it already has 10 volumes out in Japanese, along with eight volumes out in English via Yen Press, and with Volume 9 due to publish on June 24th, 2025.

The anime is being directed by Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai), with Yuu Satou (Kotaro Lives Alone) in charge of series composition, and Ryou Yamauchi and Maya Itou designing the characters.

The latter two are also Chief Animation Directors along with Kazuya Kuroda.

The previously mentioned LIDEN FILMS (Call of the Night) is in charge of animation.

Enjoy the Please Put Them On, Takamine-san creditless opening and ending animations below, and watch the first two episodes of the anime — EP1 “Become My Closet” and EP2 “Let Me Redo It Until I’m Satisfied” — via Crunchyroll.

Heck, I am not even a particular fan of this type of anime, but I am enjoying this so far — it’s quirky, fun and, yep, oppai!
